The holiday season is just around the corner and with your continued help, we will be able to truly make it a season of giving. Each year SFAR hosts a toy drive for families and children of the Welcome Home Project.
We need your help in stocking up and spreading holiday cheer. Are you able to donate any toys?
The communities that we serve are looking for the following toys:
- Books for children 0-18 (Languages in English, Spanish, and Chinese)
- Clothing (Pajamas, hats, socks, hoodies and other items that do NOT require precise sizing {ages newborn to teens})
- Art(s) Supplies (coloring books, easels, paint, craft kids, musical instruments, dancewear, etc.)
- Action Figures, Dolls + Accessories (Representation of all ethnicity)
- Dramatic Play Toys (dress up clothes, playhouses/tents, play kitchens, cooking toys, etc. {no guns or weapons})
- Construction Toys (blocks, Legos, Lincoln Logs, cardboard bricks, marble race tracks, etc.)
- Trucks, Cars, Trains, etc. & Accessories
- Baby Toys (baby gyms/activity tables, musical toys, stimulation toys, etc.)
Alternatively, we’re also accepting brand new home good items as part of our Welcome Home Project package.
The communities that we serve are in need of the following items:
- Bedding (bed sheets, blankets, pillows, etc.)
- Cleaning supplies (all purpose cleaner, cleaning cloths, sponges, gloves, dish soap, detergent, dryer sheets, etc.)
- Dishware (bowls, plates, cutlery, cups, mugs, etc.)
- Kitchen appliances (blenders, toaster ovens, griddles, skillets, pots/pans, coffee makers, rice cookers, slow cookers, etc.)
- Kitchen supplies (pot holders, kitchen towels, can openers, measuring cups/spoons, cutting boards, vegetable peelers, knives, tupperware, etc)
- Hygiene supplies (shampoo, body soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, first aid, q-tips, combs/hair brushes, feminine hygiene products, nail clippers, nail filers, etc.)
Any toys and/or items that you’re able to donate can be dropped off or delivered to our office at:
